PRC Offers Salvaged Architectural Elements For Sale
Salvaged architectural elements are now for sale at the PRC's warehouse, 2801 Marais St.

The PRC now offers a wide range of salvaged architectural elements for sale at its warehouse, 2801 Marais St. The majority of these materials come from historic houses targeted for FEMA-funded demolition. During the negotiations that created the review process for historic properties slated for demolition by the City, the PRC and the National Trust for Historic Preservation insisted that certain architectural elements be saved if a building must be destroyed. The PRC agreed to be the repository for these materials, and now offers them for sale in order to help recycle them back into homes throughout the city.
